Rich Marantz BSN, RN, HNB-BC is the director and instructor of Green Mountain Tai chi in Southwestern Vermont. He has taken his passion for the Chinese internal martial arts, healing arts and Taoist philosophy to create classes, programs and workshops that promote lasting health improvement and well-being. He has been professionally teaching students since 1998. His love of sharing the benefits of Tai Chi and Qigong results in a down-to-earth, step-by-step and easy-to-understand style of teaching.
Rich began his journey as a student and practitioner in 1989. He has trained extensively in Taoist life philosophy, self-defense, and traditional healing. He teaches integrating mind, movement and breath for coping with life’s physical, emotional and spiritual challenges through cultivating inner energy with meditation and healthy lifestyle strategies.
As a board- certified holistic registered nurse specializing in Hospice work, Rich aspires to be a bridge between the Eastern and Western healing modalities. He offers individual sessions using the modalities of Soul Lightening Acupressure and External-Qi Healing.
“Over the past 34 years the daily practice of Tai chi, Qigong, meditation and the application of Taoist life philosophies have provided me with methods and a foundation to cope with the inevitable challenges that come with living in a modern society as well as to heal from various life changing health events.” – R.M.
Rich is always willing to speak to you about his passion for these arts and how they can be of use within the context of your life.
