Course description for Simplified Tai chi class:  Participants will be guided through 18 simplified Tai chi movements. Each movement is practiced standing and repeated multiple times. Tai chi has been well studied with multiple health benefits including fall prevention, stress reduction and promoting ease of movement. This class is appropriate for all fitness levels. Chairs will be provided.

Loose fitting clothes and a flat bottom shoe are recommended for all classes.

Course description for beginner  Tai chi class: Students will learn the beginning of the Yang style long form. While learning the sequence of movements students will be introduced to the basic principles and concepts that guide a Tai chi practice. Qigong and meditation are infused into this class.

Individual Tai chi , Qigong and meditation instruction available.
